From May 14 to 17, the twelfth edition of Antwerp Art Weekend once again takes over the city of Antwerp. For four days, contemporary art takes centre stage, with a rich and ambitious programme of exhibitions, performances, talks and encounters across no fewer than 88 venues.

Kunsthal Extra City is also part of this citywide parcours, inviting visitors to discover the diversity and energy of Antwerp’s contemporary art scene. The 2026 edition places a strong emphasis on encounter, collaboration and new perspectives.

During Antwerp Art Weekend, we operate with adjusted opening hours, and our bar will be open for drinks:

Thursday: 12:00 – 19:00 (bar: 13:00 – 19:00)
Friday: 12:00 – 22:00 (bar: 13:00 – 22:00)
Saturday: 11:00 – 18:00 (bar: 13:00 – 18:00)
Sunday: 11:00 – 18:00 (bar: 13:00 – 18:00)
