Coffee is a short film about coffee grounds reading. The coffee grounds reader tells a woman (i.e. the artist herself whose fortune is being read in the coffee grounds) what is happening at the time and could happen in her life in the near future. The story is full of strange, obscure characters, objects, events, rumours, gossip ... all constructing a very visual, imaginative, and colourful imagery through the cool, dry, literate language of the film.
