On Saturday 18 May kids from 10 years old can indulge themselves during VESSELS (delivery vans), in a creative workshop by Ayrton Eblé. Under the theme 'playing together', you can come and express yourself artistically with graffiti, markers, pencils and recycled materials.

VESSELS is like a travelling art caravan, passing through different neighbourhoods and bustling with creativity along the way. The installation is a cardboard van transformed into a mobile studio where you can be your own artist.

This unique project is made possible through collaboration with the City of Antwerp and AP Hogeschool, who are further developing the concept of VESSELS. The caravan offers an inclusive experience, allowing children from various neighborhoods to participate. As part of the celebration of '20 years of Kunsthal Extra City,' the caravan will be stationed outside the art hall (The church at Provinciestraat 112). Regardless of where you're from, everyone is welcome to discover the artist within themselves in this mobile studio!

Ayrton Eblé lives and works in Antwerp. He holds a master's degree in visual arts from Sint Lucas Antwerp and has previously exhibited at the Festival of Architecture 2023, S.M.A.K., Kunsthal Gent, Callewaert & Vanlangendonck Gallery, Pizza Gallery, Ponti Space and Geukens and Devil. In January 2024, Eblé received the Emerging Talent grant from the Flemish Government.

VESSELS (delivery vans) will be further developed in collaboration with the City of Antwerp.
