On Saturday, May 31st, Yasmina Reggad activates her exhibition we dreamt of utopia and we woke up screaming. all before… all after… in the chapel of Kunsthal Extra City. During this six-hour marathon, she invites various guests for interviews, text readings, and radio programs.

Reggad’s work amplifies militant voices and encourages political engagement. This activation revives a history of resistance and invites reflection on alternative futures centered on solidarity and collective action.

Between the activities, at 2 pm, an artist talk will take place between Yasmina Reggad and Joachim Naudts, curator of the exhibition. Together, they delve into Reggad’s experimental performative installation, exploring themes such as militant radio, the Algerian liberation struggle, audience engagement, redefining the art world, new approaches to exhibition-making, the living archive, and the reframing of history.

Visitors are welcome to drop in at any time and participate in this dynamic, performative event.
