Invisible power structures shape our lives. They convince us that man is above nature. They preach that prosperity is impossible without economic growth. They whisper that this is just the way things are and so they will remain.

The exhibition ‘Deadly Affairs’ looks at the toxic consequences of the fraught relationship between man and nature. This short film programme asks whether another future is possible. Can we break away from deep-seated patterns? Can we slow down the pace and transform? A collection of short films and soundscapes makes tangible the possibility of a different relationship between man and other elements of nature.
