This garden concert is a compilation of Sore Spot-songs and stories assembled over the past four years with citizens from Amsterdam, Brussels and Antwerp. During performative ‘agripuncture’ workshops, Sarah van Lamsweerde, Esther Mugambi and Raoul Carrer invited local guests to share painful experiences (the ‘sore spots’) in their cities. These stories were transformed into songs, inspired by Vedic mantras, personal playlists and the speculative belief that frequencies can heal plants and humans alike.

Mugambi and Van Lamsweerde are part of Tre Tigri, a loose association of artists connected by an ‘undisciplined’ approach – with a penchant for performance – and a nomadic practice between Brussels, Amsterdam and Athens.

For this very first Sore Spot Concert, the artists are joined by visual artist and performer Laura Batistella.
