‘The Camera’s Blind Spot II’ is an exhibition about the relationship between sculpture and photography today. Curator Simone Menegoi will have a conversation with Barbara Casavecchia on the conceptual framework of the project 'The Camera's Blind Spot', referencing the first episode of show in Nuoro, as well as illuminating historical examples of hybrid relations between sculpture and photography.

Barbara Casavecchia (b. 1967) is an art critic, journalist and independent curator based in Milan. Currently Contributing Editor at Frieze, she writes regularly for Art Review, Art Agenda, Mousse, Spike, D/La Repubblica. With Anna Daneri, she conceived and curated the touring project “My Private”, with exhibitions by Gregor Schneider (2003), Patrick Tuttofuoco (2004), Michael Sailstorfer (2005), Pietro Roccasalva (2006), Kris Martin (2007), and the group show “My Private: Escaped from Italy” at the Centre d’Art de l’Ile de Vassivière (2006). With Andrea Zegna, she in charge of the public art project “All’Aperto” (Fondazione Zegna, Trivero, IT), with site-specific, permanent installations by Daniel Buren (2008), Alberto Garutti (2009), Stefano Arienti (2011), Roman Signer (2012), Marcello Maloberti (2013), Dan Graham (2014).

Simone Menegoi (b. 1970) is a writer and curator based in Milan. Contributor of artforum.com, curator of ZegnArt / Public, a contemporary art program by Ermenegildo Zegna Group, Coordinator of Per4m at Artissima, International Fair of Contemporary Art. He started out as a journalist, contributing to a number of art and design magazines and to the Italian daily Corriere della Sera. In 2005 he began his activity as independent curator. In 2008 he was resident curator at the centre d’art La Galerie (Noisy-Le-Sec, Paris). He contributed essays to the publications of both Italian and foreign institutions, writing about the work of, among others, Ulla von Brandenburg, Hubert Duprat, Attila Csörg?, Wolfgang Laib, Mark Lewis, Roman Ondák, Michael E. Smith.
