On Sunday 6 December between 3pm and 6pm Studio Start, AIR Antwerpen and Extra City Kunsthal Antwerpen are presenting the publication '10 Stories of a Journey' on the last opening day of the exhibition 'No Blossom, No Moonlight', the group exhibition ending the first edition of STRT Kit.

'10 Stories of a Journey' is a documentary, a reflection and an elaboration on the visual practices of artists Karolien Chromiak, Jane Coppin, Elise Eeraerts, Daan Gielis and Lore Van Roelen. During one year they were participating in the first edition of STRT Kit, an international development platform for emerging artists. This publication represents the dynamics of this trajectory, the meetings, experiences, memories and influences that enabled the artists to develop their practices.

'10 Stories of a Journey' is composed of five artist portraits including interviews between ART journalist Anne-Marie Poels and Karolien Chromiak, Jane Coppin, Elise Eeraerts, Lore Van Roelen and between John C Welchman and Daan Gielis; a studio portrait photographed by Charlie De Keersmaeker and an own visual contribution referring to a work that originated during this year, but was not presented yet. These artist portraits alternate with text contributions by Fadi Tofeili, Alan Quireyns, Luis Silva & João Mourão, Dorian van der Brempt and Greet Vlegels. The publication documents the exhibitions held during this year in the forms of photographic essays by Sofie Jaspers and We Document Art.

The creative and experimental graphic layout of studio De Indianen, offers this publication a diverse usage that connects to its multilayered content.
