The city is not only 'planned' on the drawing board, but is actively 'made', by increasingly diverse players. This lecture series aims to put innovative and critical initiatives and professionals in the spotlight, and offer them a platform to enter into dialogue. Based on a series of central themes we demonstrate how the classical boundaries between professional fields are being challenged and broken. How totally new roles and disciplines are emerging, blurring the boundaries between the citizen, and the expert, the professional and the activist, the designer and the entrepreneur.
